Graded Nm/Mt 8 by PSA. This is one of the scarcest cards in high grade in the ultra popular 1934 Goudey baseball set, and easily is one of, if not the toughest, card of a HOF'er. With only 6 other copies graded Nm/Mt 8 and only 2 higher, you know that this is surely on a lot of wantlists. A star from his rookie season of 1930 right through his swan song in 1950, Appling rapped out nearly 2,800 safeties in his career, every one in a White Sox uniform. This card is incredibly bright, with extra vibrant color and brilliantly white borders. A great 8!
