Lot 1251: Wade Boggs 1988 ALCS Cooper Bat (34.5")
ITEM DESCRIPTION

Boggs' bitterness with Sox management began when he stopped winning batting titles and the team went into a funk. But back when all was good and it seemed Boggs would be buried in his Sox uniform, he wielded this signature model Cooper "C235" bat like a wand in '88, racking up a sensational .366 average and his 5th and final batting crown in a Sox divisional title season. Bat shows light but evident use from the mustachioed third-bagger. Printed with "1988 American League East Champions" on barrel and stamped "34 1/2" 32-OZ" on the knob". Great display bat for Sox fans and connoisseurs of batting champs.
