Luggage tag with gold letters spelling out the words that changed baseball and American society forever -- "Jackie Robinson, Brooklyn Dodgers." The tag, one of the more unique Robinson items, dates back to around 1956, by which time he had aged gracefully into one of the game's elder statesmen -- but not so old that he couldn't steal home against the Yankees in the World Series the year before. The black 1 1/4 x 3 1/2" tag is NRMT with a small dent on the back, pristine on front. Black leather strap is attached through a hole on the left side.
