ITEM DESCRIPTION

Reserve: $500.00
Winning Bid: $1,159.26
Price Realized: $1,385.31
Auction Date:6/26/2005 9:00 PM EST

Fabulous WWII period artwork of an eagle and soldiers blowing a bugle make a winner of anyone who snatches up this 1942 Jennings "Victory Chief" slot machine. The tumblers are tumbling, the wheels of bells, cherries and oranges are ready to roll in Vegas condition. It's all working. Fresh plate covers the back of classic quarter-slot gambling device, which is 27 inches at its highest, 14 inches wide and 13 1/2 inches thick. At more than 90 pounds, it carries heft with its historical weight. Gold-painted wood topped by Deco-style blue-painted metal is a one-armed temptress. Go ahead, slip in a quarter and pull. You could win 18 quarters. Even if you lose, you've already hit the jackpot. EX+.
