What could be more valuable than an Orr-signed stick used in the early '70s when he rewrote the record book? This Victoriaville Pro model was in his hands for at least some game action during that period when he garnered the most famous goal in hockey history -- that spectacular swan-dive red-lighter against the Blues on May 10, 1970 to clinch the Cup -- and surely had some role in his 6 straight 100-point seasons. Just perhaps Mr. Orr used it when he became the 1st defenseman to cop an NHL scoring title (33 goals, 120 points in '69-70). The signature on the stick is just down from the handle in black marker and is vintage, not added years later, somewhat faded but still a good 7/10. "B. Orr" is stamped on the shaft and his famous number "4" written in marker above it. "Mailhot & Freres Inc. Victoriaville, Que." stamped on handle just down from the trademark tape on the knob end. Good use, with markings and soiling on the tape, all intact save for a piece of the bottom of the curved blade that is missing, o/w consider this a perfect Orr stick from his wonder years.
