Lot 1929: 1999-2000 Eric Lindros Philadelphia Flyers Game Worn Jersey

Amazingly, for a guy who's seemingly been around forever, Lindros is still only 32, though he's had so many concussions he might not remember his age, or his name, at times. And while his squabbles with management and many holdouts have taken up the headlines in recent years, Lindros' last Flyers jersey -- before missing the 2000-01 season with injuries and then signing with the Rangers -- turns the clock back to when he was the biggest thing in Philly next to a double cheesesteak at Pat's or Geno's. White airknit jersey has the club's "bullseye" logo on the front along with the Assistant Captain's "A" and the NHL 2000 patch. Verso has "Lindros" in black and "88" in black on orange, "88" on both sleeves in black on white tackle twill. CCM and NHL patches on back hem. Orange and black piping on neck and sleeves, black around waist. "CCM" tag in neck, "CCM Air-Knit" tag on interior. Lindros signed the front interior with his name and "99-2000" in black sharpie, grading a 7 out of a possible 10, under the trainer’s signature. Fabulous shirt with extensive use leaving a gallery of stick and board marks, pulls in the material, some loose threads and plenty of team repairs. Like Lindros, it took a beating but got patched up and came back for more.
