Baseball card master Dick Perez created the Celebration series in 1989 to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Baseball Hall of Fame. Heroic paintings of 44 then-living Hall of Famers on NRMT-MT postcards give a nod to W.S. Kimball style from a 1888 card series. Perez Steele gallery-issue was limited to 10,000 sets with no updates. Thirty-eight autographed cards in this one (Mantle, Williams, Campanella, Aaron, Hunter, Sewell, Yaz, etc.) add that touch of greatness. Cards and green-bound checklist booklet are carefully preserved in a green vinyl box with felt molding inside a green casing to make your collection safe and snug. Signatures rate NRMT or better and are accomplished in blue and black Sharpie marker.
