Willard Mullin's "Brooklyn Bum" character made the leap from newspaper cartoon to porcelain figurine, and never looked so good as on this marvelous hand-painted ashtray no doubt used more as a showpiece by Dodger fans than as a stogie graveyard. Figurine stands 6" high from tattered shoes to blue and white fedora, with great detail like a cigar in his left hand, whiskers and red nose on his face, purple vest and daisy in his lapel. Bum stands over a 7 1/2 x 9" green tray with rivulets for cigar placement. Piece is EX-NRMT with no nicks or sratches, with paint near 100%. We've never seen this one before.
