This NRMT box of 23 unopened wax packs is just one pack from being a complete box. The company reintroduced the stamps in 1962 and proved to be a favorite through the decade. Color postage-size perforated stamps also came with team albums, all for a nickel. We always tried to invent a name for the cartoon player in front of the pack on the black and red wrapper. The '69s featured a suddenly retired Mickey Mantle, Rick Monday, Don Kessinger, Dean Chance, Joe Foy, Mel Stottlemyre, Jim Wynn, Roger Repoz, Sandy Alomar, Tommie Agee and others with their names printed on red, blue green and yellow banners below the photo.
