Another beyond-rare Hendrix signed piece with incredible and revealing content, a 3x4.25" sheet of lined paper with a heartfelt message by the guitar god to a woman he was clearly smitten with. "To Anne," it begins, with a hand-drawn heart next to the name, "Stay sweet and beautiful as you are. Love to you always, Jimi Hendrix," with another heart to the left of the signature. This is a far cry from the Hendrix who set his guitar on fire on stage in a wild, simulated orgasm, but probably reflected more of who he really was, an insecure guy searching for meaning and love in life before the final bell tolled, all too soon. Signature is top-shelf Hendrix, giddily free spirited, and crystal clear, a 9/10 or better. Paper is similarly NRMT with no damage other than the serrated top caused when originally torn off a pad.
