How intense is this? A rock poster from 1970 for one of the first gigs of CSN&Y, after Neil Young (who actually performed with Stephen Stills, Garham Nash and David Crosby at Woodstock) was officially added. The gig, at the Rhode Island Auditorium on May 20th, was part of the Gansett Tribal Rock Festival, spawned this magnificent yellow and red poster with the group's picture beneath the image of a tribal Indian in horned headdress. The date is significant since the Kent State massacre happened only weeks before, prompting Young to write the epochal protest anthem "Ohio." Poster 13 x 28" and NRMT with razor-sharp edges and corners and the colors, well, intense.
