One of the more ingenious pieces of Maris memorabilia is this display featuring an intense 8 x 10 of the last "natural" hitter to top the 60-homer mark and a typed excerpt of an October 2, 1961 AP article about Maris beating Babe Ruth's record in which he says, proudly, "Nobody can take that away from me." A NRMT Maris signatures sits beneath the article in black marker. The riveting color photo shows a perspiring Maris gripping his bat against the cavernous backdrop of Yankee Stadium. Display is under glass in a 15 x 20 1/2 silver frame, and NRMT. Looking back, in many ways nobody has taken the record away from him.
