Two pieces here: 1) Rare program from The Bronx Bombers visit to San Juan's Hiram Bithorne Stadium for a pair of exhibition games against the Washington Senators on April 3 and 4, 1965. The theme of which was a tribute to Yankee catcher Elston Howard, who'd played with the San Juan's own Senadores in the island's winter league in 1954-55. 6 x 9" program is in English and has a bright red cover with Mickey Mantle in a batting stance. Inside it is like a yearbook with individual pictures of the Yankee Gods from Mickey Mantle to Roger Maris. NRMT. 2) Scorecard in Spanish with cover image of Elston Howard and is in fact a tribute to him. Scorecard in program is filled out, showing an 8-7 Yankee win with ironically a home run by Howard. EX.
