The ball is out of the picture but you know it's heading for a beating. An aging Mickey Mantle focuses on an incoming pitch in this poster distributed by Sports Illustrated in 1968. Like its image, 2-foot by 3-foot poster is a little worse for the wear, peeling in places from the poster board. But Mantle is untouched and his autograph gliding up uniform in blue marker is Hall of Fame caliber with looping flourishes on the M's. This was his final season. Make it last forever.
