Handsome set of 16 major league felt pennants from the 1950s. These pennants have the sumptuous and artful look that was lost by the late 1960s. The logo artwork of the clown representing the Brooklyn Dodgers and the head-dressed warrior for the Boston Braves are magnificent. The colors and intricacies on the silk screen images remain brilliant, and are bordered on one side by gold trim and tassels. Without including the tassles, the pennants measure 11" long. Very few of the complete set of 16 teams have a logo that you'd expect, which makes the collection all the more interesting. Two are missing the very tip (Phillies & Pirates) otherwise all NRMT.
