Goldsmith's Sons clothed ballplayers for half a century and the catalogues were a kind of fashion statement displaying the latest styles not only of uniforms (e.g., Military Collar, V-Neck Raised) but also caps (Philadelphia Style, Cincinnati Style, Boston Style), coats, shoes, socks, and monograms. Swatches in various colors and patterns array sections highlighted by color-tinted photos of unnamed by very obvious big league stars like Ty Cobb, Walter Johnson and Eddie Collins. 6 x 9 1/2", 12 pages, with a cover photo of a play from the World Series. Cover VG with light browning/soiling and mild fraying on the top right of the cover and inside pages, which are EX. Goldsmith catalogues are rarely found complete and in top condition such as this.
