Seven archival folders compiled by a photo agency during the New York Rangers' heady days of the '30s and '40s. Each folder contains an envelope with an original negative (8x10") of a different grouping of players all in uniform, on the ice, in playing positions. Their names are printed on the folder tab. Includes legendary coaches Lester Patrick and Frankie Boucher, and a panoply of players like Watson, Warwick, Kuntz, Mahaffey, Gauthier, Murdoch, Westerby, Thurier, Hunt, Scherza, etc. Includes a pair of 8x10's of Patrick with two of his skaters -- a photo someone liked so much that they wrote on the folder, "Great orig. art, Lester Patrick." Also two other photos one of Cameron, Warwick and Kirkpatrick and the other Scherza, MacDonald, Leger, DeMarco, Aubuchon. The words "original art" also appear on several other folders.
