Absolutely gorgeous horsehide covered with 27 MINT signatures of the last great team of the Mantle era dynasty -- with Mickey's sitting pretty on one sweet spot right under that of manager Yogi Berra. Without reservation, the nicest '64 Yankee ball we've ever handled in terms of quality of both the ball and the signatures, which are in deep blue and still strong ink, yielding grades of no lower than 9 with a good many at 10. Includes fellow HOFer Whitey Ford, as well as Clete Boyer, Bobby Richardson, Ralph Terry, Joe Pepitone, Tom Tresh, Hector Lopez, Al Downing, Elston Howard, Tony Kubek, John Blanchard, and the harmonica-blowing Phil Linz. OAL (Cronin) ball is near pristine with nary a speck on the hallowed hide, the laces tight as a drum and just the slightest bit of an overall glow.
