Brooklyn's most famous street became virtually synonymous with its most famous ballpark that stood on it. Just ask any old-time Dodger fan his 1st thought upon seeing this classic street sign that hung near Ebbets Field. 4 x 25 1/2" metallic sign reads "Flatbush Ave. B'Klyn." on both sides against what was once a solid black background. The years, the elements and natural rusting has produced a sort of brown border around the remaing black and on some of the white block letters, more so on one side than the other.
