A pair of game-used bats from a pair of "Killer B's" whose names and positions would become inseparable for a decade make perfect companion pieces. First baseman Jeff Bagwell and the versatile Craig Biggio became Houston Astros teammates in 1990 before the versatile Biggio secured the job at second in 1992 to forge a beautiful relationship. The two anchored the right side of the Astros' infield until 2002 and each won MVP. Both bats are inscribed with "best wishes" to a lucky man named Steve. Biggio's knobless Louisville Slugger from 1990 is uncracked but bears the marks of selective contact. The power-hitting Bagwell also surrendered his 1991 Louisville Slugger before it bore the tell-tale fracture of a fastball in on the hands.Both bats are ready for swinging or displaying.
