Bo knows...jerseys. One of the few exceptional athletes in history with the versatility to excel in more than one professional sport will be remembered most for his explosion into the American marketing machine in '86 when fresh off the Auburn giridron he gave baseball a hack -- many baseballs, to be exact. After a 25-game trial in '86, he clubbed 22 HRs the following year and peaked at 32 in '89 before a host of injuries cut short his 2-sport career and his commercials. Baby blue Kansas City Royals road jersey worn during that memorable rookie season reads “Royals 16” across chest with “Jackson 16” on verso in white tackle twill. Royals patch on left sleeve. Tagging inside front left tail is “Wilson" with [size] 44 flag tag and blue embroidered “86” tag. Nice use with a few threads loose, most noticeably on the front "6" and the left sleeve end.
