This compelling bit of Jimmie Foxx imagery is the an original photo by great sports photographer Charles Conlon of The Beast batting during his Philadelphia A's days. This was prepared for publication with markings and instructions and mounted on board. Blue highlighting of the area bordering Foxx from the knees up was meant to display the size of the desired photo, the dimensions of which are marked 5" on the right border and 3 1/2" on bottom, along with other pencil notations and a circled "Conlon Photo."
