Original September 21, 1936 AP wire photo shows a very rare image of the Iron Horse shot from overhead, grimacing while coiling with the force of a massive cut with what seems to be an oak tree for a bat. Affixed to the back is the original dateline caption, instructions to editors to use it during the upcoming World Series, and a later clipping of the photo from a 1938 newspaper story. 7 x 9" photo is VG-EX.
