Permit by the City of Philadelphia for the Eagles to play in Municipal Stadium in 1937. The Eagles played at Baker Bowl from 1933-35 before owner Bert Bell took them back to Municipal, where they'd played as the Frankford Yellow Jackets before '33, and stayed until 1940 when they moved to Shibe Park. Municipal would be renamed JFK Stadium in '64. The 7 x 8 1/2" "Permanent Amusement Permit" is numbered 1277 and signed by a proxy for the Mayor. EX condition.
