It sure seemed so when the cobra-like 2nd baseman was awarded this Official MLB Player of the Week watch in late June 2002, a distant memory now that he's a Ranger. The watch, made under license by Game Time, has a large blue & red face with the AL logo of an eagle and a baseball, a red border, black and silver stationary bezel ring, and black leather strap. The silver back is engraved, Alfonso Soriano, New York Yankees, Player of the Week, June17-23, 2002". EX-MT with very light wear damage. Came right from a Soriano family member to us.
