Blue Rawlings Pro 200-4JNSO was worn by the 3-time Cy Young award winner in 2003 during an injury-shortened campaign in which he still went 14-4 with a 2.22 ERA. Thr single most enduring moment of that season, of course, was when Pedro convinced manager Grady Little to let him stay in Game 7 against the Yankees in the ALCS, whereupon Pedro let the lead get away, and the Sox faced the heartbreak of Aaron Boone's 11th-inning game-winning homer. Only a defeat like that could have overshadowed Pedro's earlier highlight: tossing Don Zimmer to the ground like a sack of cane sugar. The message: where Pedro goes, drama and controversy (not to mention a lot of winning) follow. Characteristic of the Red Sox ace's glove is the embroidered names of his two children in red thread on the outside of the thumb, "Jerito/ Nayla Pedro Martinez." Glove shows fantastic use and is well broken in. Sorta like Pedro himself.
