One of the rarer character watches, this circa 1949 model features Jackie Robinson's image and scripted name on the face against a green and white baseball diamond motif. Quaintly, the numbers 12, 3, 6 & 9 are depicted as bases and a baseball adorns the hour hand. Watch has a brown leather band which like the silver back and clasp shows some natural age wear and darkening, only adding to the vintage look. O/a, EX-MT. One of the tougher character watches to find, as this was primarily promoted to African-Americans following his 1949 MVP season.
