Bill Graham's Fillmore East had an all too brief life from 1968-71, but the sights and sounds made there created a little corner of rock and roll heaven at 2nd Avenue and 6th Street. The bootleg tapes that preserved some of those shows have cult status today, and we would kill for any from the 13 shows billed on this extraordinary uncut sheet (8 handbills) from the fall 1968 season. Includes October shows headlined by Eric Burdon and Sly Stone, the Beach Boys, the Turtles, Credence, Jeff Beck, the Moody Blues, and in November by Steppenwolf, Iron Butterfly, Canned Heat, Jefferson Airplane, The Who, and more. Each 7 x 10" handbill has a light blue border with dark blue, red, & purple designs . All NRMT and classic cool.
