Among the notables, Casey Stengel in the middle looks not particularly happy, perhaps knowing '54 would be a struggle (the Bombers, despite winning 103 games, finished 2nd to the Indians), while a pubescent-looking Mickey Mantle is -- what else? -- 7th from the left next to the diminutive Phil Rizzuto.
