An extremely rare piece/occupation boasts a delightful painted scene of two gloved pugilists, squaring off in a ring. They are surrounded by a beautiful gold painted border and the name, “Shernoff - 1917” above. Paint is in excellent condition with virtually no chipping, although there is a 2” hairline on the inside of the mug itself which was made in Germany and imported to this country blank and handpainted here. Stands 4” tall. 3.5” in diameter.
