Whitey Ford recorded his first World Series win to complete the 4-game sweep of the Philadelphia Phillies, giving the Yanks their 13th World Championship. The ball itself has an even light tan patina. Its stampings are legible, although slightly faded. The ink signatures are prominent, with only a few that are slightly faded.
