Vintage Original artwork by Willard Mullin, entitled "A Gent Is Known by His Company", for an article in The Sporting News (4/2/58). Depicted again is the Brooklyn Bum with the famous circus clown Emmett Kelly. The Bum is pictured with angel's wings, representing the Dodgers' move from Brooklyn to Los Angeles, which of course to Brooklynites was a orchestrated by the devil himself, one Walter O'Malley. Page is toned a nice even brown, EX. Comes with copy of The Sporting News in which the cartoon was printed.
