Original drawing by Willard Mullin, entieled "Bum's rush", for an article in The Sporting News (8/12/53). Artwork is Mullin's most famous creatiom, the Brooklyn Bum, jumping off the edge of a cliff, representing the Brooklyn Dodgers' transition from their regular season performance into the post season. That was prophetic, too, since the "Bums", as always, died in the World Series against the Yankees. Art is EX. Comes with copy of The Sporting News in which the article was printed.
