Short as it is at 33", Gwynn's signature model Louisville Slugger "B267" could reach, and drive, pitches that would sail right by heftier sticks. But then Gwynn was such a talented hitter, he probably could have used a No. 2 Ticonderoga pencil and gone 3-for-4. Some of those hits may have even left some of the numerous ball markings and rack scuffs on the bat. Written with "B267-19" on the end and "B267C-33-30 1/2-19" on the knob in black sharpie.
