Lot 1833: Jerome Bettis Game Used Steelers Jersey

ITEM DESCRIPTION

Reserve: $750.00
Winning Bid: $1,187.67
Price Realized: $1,419.27
Auction Date:6/26/2005 9:00 PM EST

Few players have ever worn the Steeler jersey with as much distinction and grit as Bettis, which makes this road jersey a perfect tribute to the man. The black and gold-piping game-used uniform top shows the tell-tale grime from his plowhorse ball-carrying on the bottom hem. The back of the collar is also soiled. "36" on front and back in gold tackle twill and "Bettis" on back in white. The arm holes' elastic and seams are stressed from the 5-11, 235-pound Bettis' bulding biceps. We get to see the Bus for at least one more year. Then it's off to Canton.
