Lot 4: Mick Jagger Stage Worn Shirt

ITEM DESCRIPTION

Reserve: $1,000.00
Winning Bid:
Auction Date:12/19/2004 9:00 PM EST

Mick Jagger clearly had a change of heart from the days when he sang "No colors anymore, I want to paint it black", at least in his choice of clothing to wear on stage. This Voyage shirt worn by the now geriatric rocker is a palette of bright and sunny maroon and gold, with black and red detailed antique patterns on the cuffs and pocket on the chest. The floral textured Velour shirt conveys a velvety yet masculine sense of rock and roll style, and as such a natural for the Stones frontman who attracts all eyes when on stage. Drop-needle stitching resembles plush corduroy, yet it is softer & drapes more fluidly. We think it would be a perfect thing to slip on if and when Mick ever does ride across the desert on a fine Arab charger. Shirt has the Voyage XL label and is hangered in a handsome Lucite case measuring 28 x 36 x 4". Comes with LOA from Jagger.
