The Maysles Brothers classic 1970 rock-umentary "Gimme Shelter" perfectly captured the song's Apocalyptic vision by tracing the the Stones' '69 American tour, which ended with the murder of a fan by the Hell's Angels at Altamont. Included are the press kit for the movie opening with the Ramparts article on which it was based, and a gigantic, eerie poster of the Stones bathed in black with yellow highlights. Poster image is undamaged but the top & bottom corners are clipped and there are numerous adhesive markings. Haunting and riveting at once.
