Handwritten letter written on official 7 ½” X 9” Rolling Stones Fan Club stationary from Keith Richards to a fan. The letter is personalized “Dear Jill” and mentions the forthcoming release of “Satisfaction” as a single in Great Britain. The letter is written in orange ink and the clear, clean signature rates a “9.5” out of a possible 10. A classic black & white photograph of Richards, measuring approximately 10 ½” x 7 ½” shows the Stones guitarist dressed in his psychedelic best smoking a long pipe and holding a burning cigarette. The letter and photo are neatly matted and presented inside a handsome black frame measuring approximately 27” x 12 ½”. On the back side of the frame, the original envelope the letter arrived in is attached complete with a 1965 postmark and Winston Churchill stamp.
