The famed Bill Masterton trophy is awarded each year to the single player in the NHL who exemplifies the qualities of perseverance, sportsmanship & dedication to hockey. Following the 1983-84 season, that winner was Brad Park of the Detroit Red Wings. Along with the heralded trophy, Park was also presented with this plaque, adorned with NHL crest, two pucks and two hockey sticks, flanking a triple flame emblem.
