Description
Charles Comiskey ruled the Chicago White Sox for over 30 years. It was the 1919 World Series scandal, however, which would become his legacy. Many historians contend that Comiskey, through his severe frugality, was at least partially responsible for the fix which would ultimately lead to the life long banishment of eight men. Presented is a rare signed limited edition copy of Comiskey's autobiography, "Commy". Ironically published in 1919, the offered volume is one of only 200 copies (this one being #26) that were signed by Comiskey. The book is in overall excellent (EX) condition, with Comiskey's bold black fountain pen signature rating a full 10 out of 10. LOA
