Vintage 1970’s double knit jersey was worn by left wing, John French. A rarity in the world of jerseys, this one is exceptional, exhibiting great use throughout. Front is “San Diego” in blue on orange tackle twill sewn diagonally across the chest. Verso is “French” screened on in orange letters across the straight nameplate. Back and the sleeves bear his number “11”. Right shoulder bears the embroidered “San Diego Mariners” circular team patch. Vintage tie neck style with the laces still intact. Collar tagging is “Wilson [size] 46”. Jersey is covered with numerous “points of contact” and riddled with team repairs.
