This lucky pair got to see Bill Mazeroski's famous shot heard round the world in the 1960 World Series. These stadium artifacts have witnessed some dramatic history. Maz made history that day, becoming the first player ever to end a World Series with a home run, depositing his shot off a 1-0 slider over the left field wall, just out of the reach of Yogi Berra's glove. This was the most dramatic home run in Series history, a moment that sports stars dream about, and revelling in the moment, "Dazzling Maz" rounded the bases all the while waving his cap to the fans. That gave Pittsburgh the victory over the New York Yankees and their third World Championship. The blue floor-mount seats are numbered 1 & 2. Plenty of wear to these artifacts from the home of the Pittsburgh Pirates.
