Cabinet photo was signed by McKinley while he was Governor of Ohio (1892 – 1896). Photograph is by Bakers Art Gallery of Columbus, Ohio. Only slightly faded, but the beautiful black fountain pen signature is large and bold, rating a perfect 10/10. Advertising for the photographer on the back. Remnants of paper from the album page to which this was once attached is still stuck to the verso. Comes with two very yellow pieces of paper, one with handwritten, “Given to my Grandfather while he was governor of Ohio” and the other, in the same hand, “William McKinley 25th President 1897-1901 Born January 29, 1843 – Died Sept. 14, 1901”.
