Biography came out of the Barrow estate.
Biography entitled, Commy, is the life story of Charles Comiskey, as told by G. W. Axelson. Comiskey, one of the most respected names in baseball, a pioneer of the first baseman’s position and mogul – until the infamous “Black Sox” scandal of 1919. Signed in black fountain pen on the inside page. Signature is a perfect 10 out of a possible 10. Hardcover has an elaborate raised texture cover design with an image of Charles Comiskey in batting stance. Damage to top edge of the cover, as well as some of the beginning pages.
