Reserve: $500.00
Winning Bid: $1,827.27
Price Realized: $2,183.59

Two bats wielded by Reggie – one towards the beginning of his career, the other towards the end, both with the same result – destroyed! 1965-68 Hillerich & Bradsby K75 (35.5”) with pine tar residue and badly cracked handle (cracked in two spots), which has been repaired with several nails. A faded “9” written on knob (faded). 1981 black Rawlings Adirondack 288 (34”) also with multiple cracks in the handle, one part is completely severed and missing. The bat is held together by grip tape, which has been wrapped around several times. Reggie’s #44 written in white at both ends. Great testaments to the sheer power of Mr. October.
