Each set has a Lou Gehrig First Day of Issue Stamp on them.
A beautiful group of over 1,400 cards! Each one, in and of itself is a nice work of art from Perez-Steele Galleries (1988). Altogether they make up 31 complete sets (series 1-4) minus Ruth, plus 2 partial sets. The kicker is that a select bunch of these beauties are signed by the corresponding Hall of Famer. Each Spahn, Mize, Irvin, & Slaughter are signed. Additional signed: Herman (7), Kaline (5), Ford (6), Musial, Ted Williams, Koufax (5), Mantle (5), Dandridge (7), Doerr (8), B. Robinson (6). Cards are in NRMT condition and come in original boxes.
