Bound volume of these authentic memoirs of the “lives, actions, prowess and battles of the leading pugilists.” They are incorporated with magnificent engravings of the fighters themselves. One of the major works on the history of boxing, this was originally issued in parts. Here are 20 of the 56 volumes with 18 full-page boxer engravings (starts with volume II number XXX). All were nicely bound together decades ago for preservation of this relic. Theses are the first and rarest printings of this early treatise on the sport. Contents are Good, there were no covers.
