Fungo bat belonged to Hall of Famer, Nellie Fox, while he was coaching for the Washington Senators. Extra skinny, it is tapered high up by where the "sweet spot" would be on a normal bat. This was used for fielding practice. The end of the barrel is covered in tape, which bears Nellie Fox's handwritten "#42" in black marker. No other markings or stampings. Obtained from the Fox family.
