Produced by the Rose Company from 1908 to 1909 these beautiful looking postcards bear rare and unusual advertising backs which we have not seen previously. The verso on each reads “Greenfield’s Delatour Chocolates Standard of Excellence, etc”. Obviously an advertisement for E. Greenfields Sons Company as listed at the bottom making these essentially BASEBALL CARDS. Both players, Jack Powell and George Stone, are from the St. Louis team. The pair is EX and only exhibit minor corner wear.
