Functional art! Wayne Gretzky’s silver Easton 5100 used immediately prior to the 1991 Canada Cup Tournament features a spectacular hand-painted blade portraying Wayne in his Team Canada uniform. Wayne commissioned noted sports artist Steve Houston to produce a limited production run of 60 pieces (numbered of 99). The unnumbered example has been signed by both Wayne and the artist on the throat of the special Canada Cup blade. The butt end has been marked “B41”.
